Wheels in the Wild!

A foraging and plant exploration workshop suitable for wheelchair users (including those with prams for young ones)

Ever wondered what you can safely and sustainable harvest from our coastlines or in our woods? Or why a dandelion has so many yellow petals and why gorse can help other plants grow?

This fun and interactive workshop is about enjoying spending time together in the great outdoors, enjoying good company and having the opportunity to indulge in our curiosity and love of plants, fungi and seaweed.

All workshops have been designed to take place on wheelchair friendly paths.

"Thanks for the online class last night, it has definitely helped me with confidence in identifying conifers and great to hear some really interesting facts which I haven’t heard before. Its one of the situations when I wish one could download someone’s knowledge and plug it straight into my brain, I look forward to learning more with you"

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for the workshop last night. It was exactly what I was looking for, and you are such a brilliant teacher! What I wouldn't give to spend a few hours walking in my local woods with you to make sense of it all. Please would you add me to your mailing list as I'd love to learn more."
