Forest Bathing comes from the Japanese tradition called shinrin yoku. It is a tradition that encourages a greater stillness within and a deeper connection with the natural world around us.
Gentle meditative exercises, such as focusing on the breath and mindfulness techniques are used to reduce stress, still the mind, and cultivate a richer relationship with the woodland and all that lives there.
During this two and a half hour workshop you will have the opportunity to drop deeper into the inherent stillness that is within you whilst also opening the eyes, hearts and minds to the wonderful trees of the New Forest.
Please note all mobile phones will be asked to be switched off for this workshop 🙂
