Buds, Bark, Lenticels, Leaf Scars….
During this informative and fun workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn the basic ‘botanese’ (language of plants) that will assist you with identifying native UK trees in the winter.
The workshop will be half classroom based and half in the field, giving you the chance to put your newly learned identification skills to practice, whilst also discussing some ethnobotany of each species as we wander through the woods.
This course is for complete beginners, forest school leaders, bushcraft practitioners, lovers of plants and those will some botany or none⦠all welcome!
Hand lenses, field guides, teas and coffees provided.
