Buds, Bark, Lenticels, Leaf Scars….

During this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn how to identifying broadleaf trees in the UK on your winter walks or during botanical surveys. You will also be signposted to several resources that can help you with your continued learning.

Twig samples will be sent to you for this workshop, so please ensure you send your postal address when booking your tickets on Eventbrite and book your place no later than Wednesday the 8th of February to allow time for the samples to arrive. If you live outside of the UK, unfortunately botanical samples cannot be sent to you, however, there will be plenty of slides for you to see the details of each specimen should you still wish to attend the course.

Please bring with you to the workshop a magnifying glass, jewlers loop or a botanical hand lens (a simple reading one will do).
