Over the years I have developed and designed a wide variety of environmental education programmes and training courses that have been delivered across the UK. Many of the projects were funded over a two-year period and were either designed as therapeutic programmes for adults with mental health challenges or as part of an alternative and complimentary curriculum for teenagers and primary school children.
The accredited Training the Trainer courses I have designed and delivered include the NCFE Level 2 Woodland Activity Leader training (which was designed as an alternative to the Forest School Training), an NCFE Level 3 Coastal Activity Leader Training, an Introduction to Bushcraft, An Introduction to Plant Identification and Ethnobotany, Level 3 Early Years Woodland Activity Leader Training and a 5 day Level 3 Animal Tracks and Signs course designed in collaboration with UK leading Bushcraft Instructors Lisa Fenton and Ben McNutt.
The Woodland Activity Leader Training Course is accredited with Professional Recognition by the General Teaching Council of Scotland.
